Imagine Nation Films is a Malaysian independent production company founded in 2013 by writer-director Zafëilüm Baginda and producer Azman Omar. Based in Kajang, Selangor, the company works across drama, documentary, and commercial production, and has developed a distinctive working method for restrained, morally serious storytelling in the Malay-language register.After thirteen years of building capacity across broadcast television, documentary programming, and long-standing commercial work, Imagine Nation Films is transitioning into independent feature cinema. The company's first feature, currently in development, targets an international festival premiere in 2028.

Azman Omar

Azman Omar has worked in Malaysian television and documentary production for over two decades. He worked as producer and director at Radio Televisyen Malaysia from 2005 to 2016 before joining Imagine Nation Films full-time. He is the producer of Orang Jahat.

Syed Firdaus bin Syed Ali is Post-Production Producer and Editor at Imagine Nation Films, where he has been responsible for all of the company's post-production work since 2013 — first as a freelancer, then as a full-time team member. His feature credits with Imagine Nation include editing, colour grading, and VFX on Portal, Genggam, and Puaka Bujang Senang, alongside documentary work on THE WAU and Mutiara Khazanah and TV programmes including De La Moda 360, Sihat Cantik & Menawan, and Hamparan Alam. He brings close to two decades of editorial experience across broadcast, documentary, and commercial work in Malaysia
